Cold Sparks at Your Wedding: Everything You Need to Know

If you've been on wedding Instagram or TikTok recently, you've seen them: towering fountains of sparks framing a couple's first dance. They look like something out of a movie — and the best part is they're completely safe for indoor use.

Cold sparks (also called cold fireworks or spark machines) use titanium powder heated to create sparks that are cool to the touch within seconds. There's no fire risk, no smoke, and no damage to venues. Most venues that ban traditional pyrotechnics are perfectly fine with cold sparks.
